Our rig was built from a retired ambulance on a 1995 E350 platform. It’s powered by the infamous 7.3 Powerstroke and had only 40k miles on it when it came into our possession. She’s our very first rig and in her past life, served as a fire rescue truck for the small town of Sandown, New Hampshire.
We get a lot of people asking why we chose to go with an ambulance and it’s a fair question. I go over some pros and cons to converting an ambulance here!
We’ve put A LOT of work into this and we still have some work to do. Believe me when I tell you there is nothing easy or straightforward about making an ambulance feel like home. Want to see what we’ve done so far?
